SHEMAR MOORE undergoes 3 surgeries to fix 'ugly' feet after going to extreme lengths to hide them

Tuesday, October 6, 2026 - Actor Shemar Moore has revealed that he underwent three surgeries on his feet after years of feeling self-conscious about their appearance.

Appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show on October 2, the 56-year-old S.W.A.T. and Criminal Minds star joked that his feet were so badly affected by bunions that he avoided showing them in public. He said the procedures have now left his feet “presentable.”

Moore said his foot problems became especially noticeable when he wore formal shoes, describing the bunions as large bumps that changed the appearance of his feet.

During his earlier modeling career, he even recalled burying his feet in sand when people came close while he was on the beach. Moore had previously shared details of his surgeries online, including thanking podiatrist Dr. Robert J. Joseph for helping correct the problem.

The actor now says he is comfortable walking barefoot at the beach or around a pool—something he once went to great lengths to avoid. His candid admission has also brought attention to how common foot problems such as bunions can affect confidence as well as comfort.

For Moore, the surgeries have provided both a physical improvement and the freedom to stop hiding a part of himself he spent years trying to keep out of sight.
