Tuesday, October 6, 2026 - At least three Palestinians were killed and 19 others wounded in Israeli attacks across Gaza, according to medical sources, as violence continues despite the ceasefire that has been in place since October 2025.
The reported incidents included strikes and shelling in areas around Deir al-Balah, Khan Younis and northern Gaza, with civilians among those affected.
The latest casualties add to a growing toll since the truce began. Gaza’s Health Ministry has reported that more than 1,450 Palestinians have been killed and over 5,000 injured in Israeli fire since the ceasefire took effect, while humanitarian agencies continue to warn that daily attacks and restrictions are worsening already critical conditions.
The continued violence is putting renewed pressure on efforts to preserve the ceasefire and deliver aid to Gaza’s population. With winter approaching and thousands of displaced families living in vulnerable conditions, humanitarian groups say access to food, medical supplies, shelter and basic services remains urgent.
The latest deaths underline how fragile the truce remains and how quickly renewed attacks can deepen Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.
