Wednesday, October 7, 2026 - Wladimir Klitschko is seeking answers over missing belongings belonging to his late former fiancée, Hayden Panettiere, after claiming in new court documents that a non-family member previously connected to the actress may have pawned some of her possessions, including jewelry.
The former boxer says a pawn shop has refused to provide details about the items without law-enforcement involvement.
Klitschko is now asking for authority to seek a police investigation and recover the property, warning that remaining items could be sold or otherwise become impossible to recover.
The filing forms part of his effort to become temporary guardian of Panettiere's estate on behalf of their 11-year-old daughter, Kaya, whom he says is entitled to her mother's assets.
The claims add another layer to the growing dispute over Panettiere's estate following her death on August 16 at age 36. Klitschko has previously raised concerns about missing jewelry and other property, while a report last week said Panettiere's engagement ring from Klitschko was also missing.
No court ruling has yet established that anyone improperly took or pawned the items, making the requested investigation the next key development.
