Monday, October 5, 2026 - Chad Lowe’s 17-year-old daughter, Mabel, has shared an emotional tribute to her younger sister Fiona, days after the 13-year-old died.
Mabel posted a series of childhood photographs showing the sisters together, alongside a deeply personal message expressing her love and grief. She wrote that she wished Fiona’s “short time here was easier” and promised to honor her memory forever.
The tribute comes as the Lowe family continues to mourn the loss of Fiona, whom Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, described as loving, smart, creative and passionate about dance.
The family confirmed her death on September 29 and asked the public for privacy while encouraging people struggling with mental health to seek support. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has since ruled Fiona’s death a suicide.
Mabel’s post has prompted an outpouring of support from friends and public figures, who left messages of sympathy for the family. Fiona’s dance teacher has also shared memories of the teenager, remembering her enthusiasm, dedication and love of dance.
As the family navigates an intensely painful period, Mabel’s tribute is keeping the focus on Fiona’s life, the bond she shared with her sisters and the memories she leaves behind.
