Thursday, September 10, 2026 - Actor and filmmaker Noel Clarke has been charged with six sexual offences following an investigation by London’s Metropolitan Police.
The Crown Prosecution Service confirmed the charges include two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism and one count of exposure. The allegations involve five women and relate to incidents alleged to have occurred between 2007 and 2016.
The 50-year-old actor, known for Doctor Who and the Kidulthood film series, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21.
The prosecution follows a police investigation launched in September 2025, with the CPS saying there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to court and that prosecution is in the public interest. Clarke has previously denied allegations of sexual misconduct.
The case is now moving into the courts, making the coming weeks significant as the legal process unfolds. Authorities have said the women connected to the charges are receiving support from specially trained officers and have urged anyone who may have experienced sexual assault to contact police.
As proceedings remain active, Clarke is entitled to a fair trial, and the allegations should not be treated as established facts unless proven in court.
