MILEY CYRUS announces 'powerful' new album Bass Persuades

Wednesday, September 2, 2026 - Miley Cyrus is kicking off a new musical era with the announcement of her 10th studio album, Bass Persuades, set for release on September 18, 2026.

The singer, now being billed professionally simply as Miley, revealed the project this week and described its music as powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong. The announcement has immediately put the upcoming record at the center of attention as fans wait for a fresh sound from the Grammy-winning artist.

The album will feature 10 tracks, including collaborations with Model/Actriz and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow. Miley is also moving quickly to bring the new material to the stage, with two special performances scheduled at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18.

The concerts will give fans an early opportunity to experience the new project live and could become a major moment in the album's rollout.

With Bass Persuades arriving just weeks after its announcement, attention is now shifting toward the first music and the album's full impact.

The title track is expected to lead the rollout, while the new visual identity and Miley's simplified stage name signal a deliberate new chapter. For fans and the wider pop audience, September 18 is quickly becoming one of the key music-release dates to watch.
