OLIVIA RODRIGO’s inaugural all-women festival raises nearly €17 million

Tuesday, September 1, 2026 - Olivia Rodrigo has turned music into a major fundraising force, with her inaugural all-women festival, Daisy Chain Fields, generating nearly €17 million ($20 million) for organizations supporting women and girls.

The Irvine, California, event brought together a powerful lineup including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Bikini Kill and Stevie Nicks, attracting about 45,000 people and turning a single-day concert into a high-impact charitable campaign.

The fundraising result became even bigger when philanthropist Melinda French Gates pledged an additional $10 million to match the $10 million already raised through the festival.

The combined funds will be distributed among 10 nonprofit organizations working across women's health, reproductive rights, legal advocacy and economic justice, including Planned Parenthood and the National Women's Law Center.

For Rodrigo, 23, the festival shows how celebrity influence can move beyond entertainment and deliver measurable results.

With a huge young audience and major artists supporting the cause, Daisy Chain Fields has created a fresh model for combining pop culture, community and philanthropy—raising the pressure on other high-profile artists to turn their platforms into action when urgent social issues demand attention.
