Monday, September 28, 2026 - Kylie Minogue turned the Melbourne Cricket Ground into a pop spectacle on September 26, delivering a 20-minute performance before the 2026 AFL Grand Final.
More than 100,000 fans watched the Melbourne-born star perform a string of her biggest hits, including “Love at First Sight,” “In Your Eyes,” “Spinning Around,” “Padam Padam” and “The Loco-Motion.”
The performance was packed with costume changes, dancers and pyrotechnics, with G Flip and musician William Barton joining Minogue during the set.
The biggest moment came during “Can’t Get You Out of My Head,” when Minogue was lifted high above the stadium on a suspended platform over a giant football bearing her name.
The homecoming performance gave fans a major pre-game spectacle as Melbourne hosted the AFL’s biggest match of the season.
Despite rain earlier in the day, the show went ahead as planned, with Minogue bringing together decades of pop hits, Melbourne references and a dramatic airborne finale that quickly became one of the event’s standout moments.
