'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' set to resume production

Thursday, April 23, 2026-Hulu’s reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is officially set to resume production after a brief pause that halted filming earlier this year.

The show, which follows a group of Mormon mom influencers navigating fame, relationships, and personal drama, had stopped production amid an internal review tied to off-screen incidents involving cast members. Cameras are now expected to restart in Utah as the series moves forward with its upcoming season.

The production delay began in March following concerns linked to a domestic incident involving cast member Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

While the situation led to filming being temporarily suspended, reports indicate that production is moving ahead again, though it remains unclear whether all original cast members will return when filming resumes. Some key figures may be excluded or reintroduced later depending on ongoing decisions from producers and Hulu.

The restart signals the show’s intent to continue building on its strong audience interest, with the series already known for its mix of personal conflicts and social media-driven fame.

However, uncertainty still surrounds the final cast lineup and how recent controversies will be addressed on screen. For now, production teams appear focused on stabilizing filming and keeping the next season on track for release.
