Friday, September 24, 2026 - Sabrina Washington has pushed back against claims that she blindsided her Mis-Teeq bandmates by announcing the group had split.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain on September 24, Washington said she had never used the word “split” and insisted that the group’s recent Wembley reunion was originally planned as a one-off celebration.
Her comments came after reports that Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash were surprised by news that no further Mis-Teeq dates were planned.
The dispute intensified after Washington announced her solo tour, A One Night Stand Just Ain’t Enough, following Mis-Teeq’s sold-out Wembley Arena reunion.
Nash had publicly said the supposed split was “news to me,” claiming the group had been considering 2027 opportunities, including major festival appearances and additional UK shows.
A statement attributed to the Mis-Teeq camp also alleged that Washington and her team issued the split announcement without informing the other members.
Washington has now stressed that she still loves her bandmates and would not rule out performing with Mis-Teeq again. At the same time, her solo plans are moving forward, with her tour scheduled to begin in February 2027 and featuring Mis-Teeq classics alongside her solo material.
With conflicting accounts now public, the future of the group remains uncertain—and fans will be watching closely to see whether the Wembley reunion becomes a final chapter or the starting point for another comeback.
