Thursday, September 23, 2026 - Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti’s girlfriend, Iris Rabaya Au, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to filing a false tax return.
Au, 37, admitted failing to report more than $2.6 million in income transferred into her personal accounts between 2020 and 2023. She was sentenced on September 21 and was also ordered to pay $1.4 million in restitution.
The case is linked to funds generated through the criminal activities of Au’s former partner, cryptocurrency businessman Adam Iza. Prosecutors said Au created shell companies and bank accounts that helped move and conceal illicit funds, while the money was used for luxury property, cars, jewellery and other spending.
Iza is separately serving a 15-year sentence over his involvement in an attempted Bitcoin robbery and kidnapping and faces further legal proceedings.
The dramatic development puts renewed attention on Sanclimenti and his relationship with Au. The reality star previously said he knew about her legal situation and vowed to support her through the proceedings.
With Au now behind bars, the couple’s relationship faces a major new chapter—one that is likely to keep fans and celebrity-watchers following the story closely.
