Wednesday, September 2, 2026 - Katie Price has dumped her husband Lee Andrews after discovering he had £2.22 in his crypto bank account — not the £37million he had promised. The star, 48, has quietly consulted a top London divorce lawyer about ending their eight-month marriage.
Furious Katie dumped Lee by WhatsApp, telling him: “I have been played and you are not who you say you are. Why have you lied to me?” The TV personality and glamour model has no plans to fly out to see the fraudster, currently in a desert jail.
News of the split comes eight months after the pair married in a surprise ceremony in Dubai, where he is based. Katie told a pal: “I have come to my senses — Lee has lied and lied and lied.”
The decision came after she discovered that Lee had claimed to have $50million (£37million) in a crypto wallet and had promised her some of the funds. He gave her the recovery phrase, or passkey, to access the account, and a financial expert later found that it contained just $3, or £2.22.
Lee, who is currently in the UAE’s Al Awir prison and facing three civil cases, has continued calling Katie from jail. The reported split follows months of mounting problems surrounding the relationship, including his repeated imprisonment and previous claims surrounding his disappearance.
Katie’s decision now appears final, with reports suggesting she has consulted a divorce lawyer and does not intend to visit him in Dubai again. The end of the short marriage marks another dramatic development in a relationship that has faced intense scrutiny since the couple first got together.
