Monday, September 28, 2026 - Gemma Collins’ alleged female stalker has been arrested after the reality star was targeted with abusive and deeply personal letters, some of which she said contained rat poison.
Essex Police confirmed that a woman in her 30s was arrested as part of an investigation into alleged stalking and harassment in the Chelmsford area. The woman was interviewed and released on bail until November. An arrest does not establish guilt.
Collins, 45, has previously spoken publicly about the distress caused by the alleged harassment and said her home security was strengthened as a result.
She claimed that letters and parcels had been sent to her home, including rat poison and dog waste, and said the alleged sender had made disturbing claims about her family. Collins also said one letter claimed the sender had attended her mother Joan’s funeral following her death in July.
The latest arrest marks a significant development in an investigation that began in June 2025. Collins has thanked police and others involved in the case, while continuing to speak about the impact the alleged stalking has had on her life.
She previously said the experience had affected her sense of safety and had “played havoc on her mind.” The investigation remains ongoing, with the woman released on bail pending further police action.
