DWAYNE JOHNSON hires his daughter SIMONE in new career move after WWE exit

Friday, September 18, 2026 - Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter Simone Johnson has moved into a new chapter of her career after leaving WWE earlier this year.

The 25-year-old is now working as a junior executive at Seven Bucks Productions, the entertainment company operated by Johnson and her mother, Dany Garcia.

Simone, who performed as Ava during her WWE career, revealed the move while appearing on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast.

She said her new responsibilities include reading scripts, taking notes and sitting in meetings with writers, producers and directors. She also described the experience as an opportunity to learn more about the entertainment business from the inside.

The move comes after Simone decided to leave WWE, where she had spent six years and eventually worked as the on-screen general manager of NXT.

She previously explained that she wanted a new challenge and greater room to grow. Now, her focus has shifted from the wrestling ring to film and television production, putting her directly into the family’s expanding entertainment business.
