Monday, June 15, 2026 - President Trump has eliminated another major criminal figure, killing the leader of the violent transnational gang Tren de Aragua.
The president accompanied the striking footage with his
characteristic blunt commentary, writing that the US military had taken out
Flores in a "swift and lethal kinetic strike" coordinated with
"our friends in Venezuela." Trump also called Flores "the
infamous leader of Tren De Aragua," which he described as "one of the
most bloodthirsty Terrorist Organizations on Planet Earth."
Flores transformed a Venezuelan prison gang into one of the
most feared transnational criminal networks, preying on victims from Latin
America to the United States and Europe. US Immigration and Customs Enforcement
had also listed Flores as one of its most wanted fugitives.
Trump has made it a priority to eliminate the world's most
dangerous gangs and drug traffickers wherever they hide, and Flores now joins
that list.
