Sunday, April 26, 2026- A pregnant woman and her two children have been killed in an Israeli airstrike on a residential home in northern Gaza, according to medical and local reports, in an incident that has further intensified international concern over civilian casualties in the ongoing conflict.
The victims were identified as members of the al-Tanani family, with relatives saying the strike hit their home in Beit Lahia, an area that has repeatedly come under bombardment. The woman was reportedly pregnant with twins, and her children were aged 4 and 13. Rescue workers and family members recovered the bodies from the rubble as emergency teams continued searching the area for survivors.
Funeral prayers were later held at a hospital in Gaza City, where grieving relatives gathered as the death toll from recent strikes continued to rise. Local health officials say dozens of civilians have been killed in multiple strikes across Gaza in recent days, even as international pressure mounts for a lasting halt to hostilities.
