Wednesday, February 18 2026 -A high school employee in Indiana, United States, was arrested after allegedly engaging in s3xual misconduct with a 18-year-old student.
According to a statement issued by the Union City Police
Department on Sunday, February 15, 2026, Alicia Hughes, a secretary for the
Randolph Eastern School Corporation, was taken into custody following an
investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct with a minor.
The incident began when law enforcement received a report of
an alleged battery on Saturday, February 14.
While investigating the claims, responding officers were
told that Hughes' husband had caught her with an 18-year-old student who
attended Randolph Eastern School Corporation and confronted them.
It is alleged that the suspect was battered during the
altercation.
That incident is also being investigated by the Randolph
County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators said they later uncovered evidence that Hughes
had also engaged in a s3xual relationship with another student who was 17 years
old, and determined that the suspect had s3xually abused the student on at
least five occasions.
Hughes was arrested and charged with the following,
according to police.
The charges were filed in connection with the alleged s3xual
abuse of the minor student.
Hughes was taken to the Randolph County Jail, and she is
being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
The Randolph Eastern School Corporation is cooperating with
the investigation, police said.
