TRUMP to host DRC’s FELIX TSHISEKEDI and Rwanda’s PAUL KAGAME to sign peace deal

Friday, December 5, 2025 -Donald J. Trump is set to host Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Paul Kagame of Rwanda in Washington, D.C., for a high‑stakes signing of a U.S.-brokered peace and economic agreement.

The ceremony — described as the most consequential push in years to address the violence in eastern Congo — follows months of negotiations facilitated by the U.S. and international partners.

The pact builds on an earlier deal signed in June 2025.
