Senate sends EPSTEIN files bill to TRUMP

The U.S. Senate has just taken decisive action: it unanimously passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, sending the measure directly to President Donald Trump for his signature. This follows a near-unanimous vote in the House (427–1), underscoring the bipartisan push to force public access to Justice Department documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein and his circle.

The bill requires the Department of Justice to release all unclassified Epstein-related records — including communications, investigative materials, and information on plea deals — within 30 days of enactment. While there are narrow allowances for redactions, they cannot withhold data simply to protect reputational harm or political embarrassment.

Trump, who previously derided these efforts as a “Democrat hoax,” has now pledged to sign the bill. If he follows through, the law could force a sweeping release of documents by mid-December — a moment of reckoning for transparency advocates, Epstein’s survivors, and anyone demanding accountability.
