TRUMP pushes BONDI to pursue cases against foes

Tuesday, September 23, 2025 -Donald Trump has intensified his calls for Attorney General Pam Bondi to take legal action against his political opponents, including New York AG Letitia James, former FBI Director James Comey, and Rep. Adam Schiff.

On Truth Social, Trump accused the Justice Department of “dragging its feet” and demanded immediate prosecutions, declaring, “Justice must be served, now!” His remarks came after the removal of U.S. Attorney Erik Siebert, who was overseeing sensitive investigations. Trump has nominated his former attorney Lindsey Halligan to replace him.

Critics say the push risks undermining the independence of the Justice Department and turning prosecutions into political weapons, while Trump allies argue he is seeking long-overdue accountability.
