TRUMP officials shut down bribery probe of border Czar TOM HOMAN

Tuesday, September 23, 2025 -A federal sting operation in 2024 alleged that Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, accepted $50,000 in cash from undercover FBI agents posing as business executives. Investigators claimed the money was tied to promises of helping secure immigration-related contracts if Trump regained power.

The probe, which included recorded evidence, was reviewed by the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section. After Trump took office in 2025, senior DOJ leaders declared the case lacked credible evidence and officially closed the investigation.

Homan denied wrongdoing and the White House dismissed the accusations as politically motivated. Critics in Congress, however, say shutting down the case raises concerns about politicization at the DOJ and have demanded that evidence from the sting be made public.
