Missing teen found dead in Tesla linked to singer D4VD

Friday, September 19, 2025 -Authorities in Los Angeles have identified a body discovered in the front trunk of a Tesla as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been missing from Lake Elsinore, California, since April 2024.

The car, registered to musician d4vd (David Anthony Burke), was abandoned in Hollywood and later impounded. Tow yard workers found the body wrapped in a bag after noticing a strong odor.

The Los Angeles medical examiner confirmed the identity through tattoos and personal items but has not yet determined the cause of death, listing it as “deferred.” Police say the investigation is being handled by the Robbery-Homicide Division, and no suspects have been publicly named.

D4vd is said to be cooperating with authorities as the case unfolds. The discovery has drawn wide attention due to the connection with the rising singer, intensifying calls for answers about how the teen’s body ended up in the vehicle and what circumstances led to her death.
