ABC Sacramento station hit by gunfire, no injuries reported

Sunday, September 21, 2025 -Police are investigating after gunfire struck the ABC10 television station in Sacramento on Friday afternoon. At least three bullets hit the lobby windows of the building while employees were inside, but no injuries were reported.

Authorities believe the shooting may have been a drive-by, though it is not yet clear whether the station was targeted or struck at random. No suspects or vehicle descriptions have been released.

ABC10’s parent company, Tegna, said all staff members are safe and that the station is fully cooperating with law enforcement as the investigation continues.
