Wednesday, July 2, 2025 - It's because the man has given her a reason to doubt his
faithfulness" Businesswoman says of husbands whose wives can't trust them
around scantily-clad women at the gym
A
businesswoman has weighed in on women preventing their husbands from going to
the gym because of the women's figure-hugging gym wears.
There have
been conversations around the topic after a woman did a video revealing that
she had to ask her husband to stop going to the gym because of how the women
there are clad.
Roberta
Edu reacted, stating that it is an insult to a husband for a wife not to trust
him with scantily-clad women at the gym, as it means that the man is not
trustworthy.
She added
that men at the gym also wear revealing and tight gym wears yet women do not
complain.
She wrote:
"I feel like when women say they feel uncomfortable
or stop their spouse from going to the gym, it’s an insult to the man.
I don’t know, but if I made the decision to go to the gym
to exercise my body, and the gym is doing what it’s supposed to do, and I’m
seeing results, then men wearing tight clothes or exposing their chests
wouldn’t bother me.
We’re adults. When I look at my husband, I feel attracted
to him, I want to eat him up! But I also see men in offices who may be more
physically attractive, yet I don’t feel the same way about them. Even if they
walk around naked, it would irritate me. Let no one say women aren’t attracted
to looks. My childhood crush was a fine man, and I used to admire his tuxedos
and the way he walked so gallantly. Women do love men’s bodies, a lot of us do.
Even if you want to say it's money women love more, I work with people richer
than my husband, should I leave the work cos they could make me fall?
But I won’t stop working, or going to the gym just
because men expose their bodies, or have more money. And let’s be real, it’s
not only women whose bodies are exposed in the gym. Men too, with their tight
pants and open chests, they’re saying a lot with that look.
I’d feel insulted if my husband told me not to go
somewhere that helps me heal my body just because there are men there showing
skin. I’m not a child. I know the commitment I made with my husband, and I’ll
respect that with everything in me. So why would I go to the gym and lose focus
because of people doing the same thing I came there to do?
When a woman says she’s scared that her husband is around women exposing body at the gym, it’s because the man has given her a reason to doubt his faithfulness. It also means she feels he’s not self-aware enough to remember who he married, or wise enough to know where to keep it. A man whose wife can’t trust him in a gym filled with women shouldn’t be trusted with leadership, power, or higher responsibility in the world.
