MUDAVADI now thanks UHURU for removing RAILA’s burden from their shoulders after carrying him without any benefit for years.

Wednesday, February 23, 2022 – Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for supporting ODM leader Raila Odinga, describing him as a political burden.

Speaking during the Kenya Kwanza rally, Mudavadi said he got tired of supporting the ODM leader, saying he is a difficult person to work with.

“In 2007- 2008, Ruto and I carried this man (Raila), 2013 Kalonzo and Wetang’ula carried him. In 2017, Wetang’ula, Kalonzo, and I carried him again.

I now want to tell you that that man is extremely heavy. You get tired carrying him,” Musalia said.

At the same time, the ANC leader predicted that President Uhuru will also get tired of supporting the former Prime Minister before the August polls.

“I want to thank President Uhuru Kenyatta for helping us and getting rid of that heavy burden away from us,” Mudavadi, who backed Odinga’s ambitions in 2017 under the now-defunct National Super Alliance (NASA), said.

“I want to warn him that by the time we are going to the polls, he will be tired of carrying him,” the ANC leader quipped.

The ANC leader, who was Raila Odinga’s running mate in the 2007 presidential election, termed Raila a dishonest leader blaming him for the disintegration of the NASA alliance.
