Wednesday, February 23, 2022 – President Uhuru Kenyatta has no plans of telling Kenyans why he parted ways with his Deputy, William Ruto.
This was revealed by Garissa Township Member of Parliament (MP) Aden Duale, who noted that the president stands to lose more if he lets out the secret.
Speaking during an interview yesterday, Duale alleged that before his ouster as the Leader of the Majority in Parliament, he confronted Uhuru several times to explain but his efforts were in vain.
According to Duale, Uhuru played cagey with the question and asked the MP to choose sides. He argued that Uhuru wanted him to align himself with either his camp or the deputy’s side.
“The news on the headlines on one of the dailies that Uhuru will spill the beans on his fallout with Ruto is simply not true, the president has never said that he will.”
“Uhuru Kenyatta will never do so, I know him. It is just an agenda being pushed by political brokers like David Murathe (Jubilee Vice-Chairman),” the MP opined.
He further dismissed claims that Uhuru would publicise intricate details of their relationship with Ruto during the Sagana 3 meeting scheduled for tomorrow (today).
During a Kenya Kwanza rally in Baringo County, Duale dared Uhuru to spill the beans on Ruto, promising an equal and opposite reaction.
He noted that they had served in Uhuru’s government and knew all his secret dealings and were ready to spill it out if push comes to shove.
