Wednesday, February 16, 2022 – The latest opinion poll conducted by one of the local media houses has revealed the political coalition that will likely win the August 9th presidential election in Kenya.
As things stand, the country has three major political coalitions that are planning to form the government in August.
The three are One Kenya Alliance, Azimio La Umoja Movement and Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
OKA principals include Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Gideon Moi and Cyrus Jirongo, while Kenya Kwanza Alliance comprises William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.
Azimio La Umoja Movement principals include Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta, Wycliffe Oparanya, and Hassan Joho
The media outlet had asked, “Which political coalition do you think has a higher chance of success in the 2022 General Elections?”
Over 1900 Kenyans participated in the poll and 61.9 percent said Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza while Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja came second with 35.1 percent while Kalonzo’s OKA only managed 3.1 percent.
