Monday, September 21, 2026 - Ten lions have been found dead in Tanzania's Ngorongoro Conservation Area following a suspected poisoning incident, according to the area's management authority.
The lions were discovered on September 18 in the Ndutu area of Endulen Ward in the Arusha region. Preliminary findings indicate that the animals may have died after ingesting poison, while authorities have launched an investigation to establish the exact cause and identify those responsible.
