Wednesday, September 2, 2026 - Lorraine Kelly has taken on a new role as the host of Saga’s Experience is Everything podcast, bringing her decades of broadcasting experience to the popular interview series.
The 66-year-old presenter joins for the podcast’s third series, which returned on September 1, with a focus on conversations with household names and public figures about the experiences that have shaped their lives. Saga says the podcast has already attracted millions of views and listens across its platforms.
Kelly said she is excited to have the opportunity to hold deeper conversations and discover what makes her guests tick. Rather than focusing only on celebrity careers, the podcast explores personal experiences, major challenges and the lessons people have learned along the way.
To mark her arrival, Kelly also sat down with former host Susie Dent, opening up about her own career, motherhood, setbacks and the experiences that have shaped her life.
The new role gives Kelly another platform at a significant stage in her career, particularly as changes to ITV’s daytime schedule have reduced the length and annual run of her television programme.
With Experience is Everything, she can put her interviewing skills at the centre of a format built around longer, more personal conversations. The move is expected to broaden the podcast’s reach while giving Kelly a fresh opportunity to connect with audiences beyond her familiar morning television audience.
