Tuesday, September 1, 2026 - KATSEYE has announced that Sophia Laforteza will not take part in the group’s European and UK dates on the WILDWORLD Tour, putting her temporarily on the sidelines as the tour gets underway.
HYBE x Geffen Records confirmed that Sophia is stepping back to focus on her well-being, with the affected dates running from September 1 through September 17, 2026. The announcement came just as the highly anticipated tour was beginning in Europe.
Sophia had already taken a temporary break from activities earlier in August, with her team emphasizing that her health and recovery were the priority. In a message to fans, she expressed her disappointment about missing the performances while thanking supporters for their understanding.
The latest decision means KATSEYE is moving forward without one of its key members during the European and UK leg, adding another challenge for the fast-rising group.
