Sunday, September 20, 2026 - Gemma Collins has revealed that she received a disturbing note from an alleged stalker claiming to have been at her mother Joan’s funeral.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star has been sharing details of a series of abusive letters she says she has received, including messages targeting her appearance, her relationship with fiancé Rami Hawash and her home.
Collins said one letter arrived shortly after her mother’s funeral and claimed the sender had been there, prompting her to declare that “justice is coming.”
Collins has described the situation as deeply upsetting and said some of the messages appeared to come from someone who may be close to her family. She has also alleged that the person has an obsession with Hawash having another child.
In her social media posts, Collins said she had kept the letters and documented what had happened, while also thanking police, CID and forensic teams for taking the matter seriously. She has alleged that the harassment went beyond letters, referring to claims involving rat poison and dog faeces being sent to her home.
The revelations come during an already emotional period for Collins following the death of her mother in July after a battle with pneumonia. Despite the distress, Collins said she was choosing “peace, protection and truth” and expressed gratitude for the support she has received from friends and fans.
Essex Police has been contacted for comment regarding her claims, while Collins continues to navigate grief alongside intense public attention surrounding her personal life.
