Wednesday, September 23, 2026 - Chris Brown has gone off about disliking other celebrities and the music industry in a series of posts shared on social media.
The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, September 22, to express his
frustration with the entertainment industry, saying he no longer wanted
anyone’s approval or what he described as “fake love.” Brown also said he hated
the “circus” surrounding the music business.
His comments quickly expanded beyond the industry itself, with the singer
criticising people he accused of promoting certain “agendas” and “narratives.”
“F*** being humble,” Brown wrote, adding: “F*** how you feel” and “F*** yo
opinion.” He also took aim at other famous personalities, declaring: “I don’t
like none of you celebrities.”
Brown went on to proclaim himself “the king” and claimed that other
artists could not compete with him, even when he was performing at his worst.
The singer suggested he was no longer interested in maintaining a restrained
public image and was prepared to embrace being viewed as a “villain.” Brown did
not identify any specific celebrities or explain what prompted the outburst.
His latest comments come days after he publicly criticised Texas State
Representative Venton Jones over an apology connected to Brown and Usher being
honoured during a concert. Jones had apologised after participating in the
presentation of congressional recognitions to the two singers.
Brown subsequently criticised the lawmaker over the apology. The singer
has not indicated whether Tuesday’s broader comments about the music industry
and celebrities were connected to that controversy or another incident.
