Wednesday, September 30, 2026 - Charlie Sheen and his father, Martin Sheen, are teaming up again for “Happy Jack,” a new family comedy coming to AMC and AMC+ in 2027.
The six-episode series will see the real-life father and son play father and son on screen, with production scheduled to begin in Los Angeles early next year.
Charlie will play Jack Chambers, a father of two daughters whose own father, played by Martin, has helped keep the family together. The story takes a comic turn when Jack discovers that his daughter's new boyfriend is the same age as him, forcing him to confront his role as a father and decide whether he is ready to become more involved in his daughters' lives.
The reunion gives “Happy Jack” an immediate family connection while marking Charlie Sheen's return to a major television role and Martin Sheen's return to a new TV series. The comedy will be filmed before a live audience at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, setting the stage for one of AMC's notable new launches heading into 2027.
