Monday, August 10, 2026 - Singer Ne-Yo is facing a lawsuit after a woman who was delivering a package to his home allegedly suffered a dog bite.
According to the lawsuit, Dominique Bridgett was attacked by
the singer’s dog while delivering a package to his Alpharetta, Georgia home in
July 2025.
Bridgett claimed the dog was not restrained despite
allegedly having a history of aggressive behaviour towards people.
She said the incident left her with injuries, pain and
emotional distress, and that she has already spent more than $9,000 on medical
bills.
The lawsuit, filed in Fulton County Court in June, accuses
Ne-Yo of negligence and seeks an unspecified amount in damages.
Ne-Yo’s representative has not publicly commented on the
lawsuit.
The case comes shortly after Chris Brown was ordered to pay
nearly $13 million after a jury found him liable in a separate case involving
an alleged dog attack on a housekeeper.
