Thursday, June 2, 2026- Legendary jockey Frankie Dettori is recovering in hospital after being involved in a serious road traffic accident near Newmarket, leaving him with multiple injuries including broken ribs and a broken thumb. The 55-year-old confirmed he is “very sore” as he remains under medical observation following the crash.
According to reports, Dettori’s car was struck from behind by another vehicle, causing it to spin and overturn.
