NICKY CAMPBELL says daughter left ‘badly injured’ in e-bike hit-and-run

Monday, June 22, 2026- Broadcaster Nicky Campbell has revealed that his daughter Lilla was left badly injured after being struck by an e-bike in a hit-and-run incident in Peckham, South London.

According to Campbell, the rider fled the scene shortly after the ambulance arrived, leaving his family searching for answers. Lilla was taken to hospital for treatment and is now recovering at home, while authorities continue efforts to identify the person responsible.

The incident has reignited concerns over road safety and the growing number of e-bike-related accidents in busy urban areas. Campbell described the ordeal as a long and emotional night for his family, emphasizing how fortunate they were that the injuries were not even more severe.

He also expressed gratitude to emergency responders, police officers, and medical staff who provided immediate assistance during the emergency.

As investigations continue, the case highlights the urgent need for accountability and safer use of e-bikes in public spaces. With CCTV footage expected to play a key role in identifying the rider, many are calling for stronger enforcement against reckless cycling and hit-and-run offenses.

For families and communities, the incident serves as a reminder that road safety remains a critical issue requiring immediate attention and action.
