Iranian group submits evidence of US-Israeli war crimes to International Criminal Court

Monday, April 27, 2026-An Iranian humanitarian organization has submitted what it describes as extensive evidence of alleged war crimes committed by the United States and Israel to the International Criminal Court, escalating legal pressure over conduct in the ongoing conflict and widening international scrutiny of military operations in the region.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society says it has provided documentation, including reports, photographs, and video material, alleging attacks on civilian infrastructure such as homes, schools, and medical facilities.

According to its leadership, the submissions are now being treated as official evidence for potential investigation under international humanitarian law frameworks.

Officials linked to the organization claim that the material includes cases of civilian casualties and damage to non-military sites, and they are urging international bodies to pursue accountability under the Geneva Conventions.

The group says it has also engaged other global institutions in parallel to strengthen the legal case.

The ICC, which investigates allegations of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, has not publicly confirmed the scope of any new inquiry tied to the submission.

Legal experts note that jurisdictional issues could complicate proceedings, but the move signals an attempt by Iranian-linked groups to internationalize accountability efforts amid intensifying geopolitical conflict.
