First responder speaks out after family of 7 rescued from cliff

Friday, April 24, 2026- A first responder involved in the rescue of a family of seven from a cliff has described the operation as highly dangerous but ultimately successful.

Emergency teams were called after the family became stranded in a precarious location, unable to safely descend on their own.

Rescue crews worked under challenging terrain conditions, using ropes and coordinated ground support to reach the group.

Officials said the priority was stabilizing each family member before carefully lowering them to safety one by one, with weather and visibility adding pressure to the operation.

All seven individuals were safely rescued and evaluated at the scene, with no life-threatening injuries reported. The first responder emphasized the importance of teamwork and quick decision-making, noting that even small delays in such situations can significantly increase risk.
