Host Jimmy Kimmel brought up headlines claiming she had
secretly gotten married, to which Zendaya responded jokingly: “Really? I
haven’t seen them.” The conversation then turned to viral AI-generated images
circulating online that appeared to show Zendaya and Holland getting married.
Zendaya explained that the fake photos had fooled many
people, including those close to her. She said friends and family were even
upset about not being invited, prompting her to clarify that the images were
not real.
During the segment, Kimmel also played a humorous clip
styled like a wedding scene from The Drama, showing Zendaya in a bridal gown
alongside a version of her co-star Robert Pattinson with Holland’s face edited
onto it. While Zendaya laughed along with the joke, she did not clearly confirm
or deny whether she and Holland are actually married.
The rumours were initially sparked earlier in the month
after her stylist, Law Roach, suggested in an interview with Access Hollywood
at the 2026 Actor Awards that people had already “missed” the wedding.
