Wednesday, February 25, 2026- Philadelphia officials have activated a Snow Emergency as a powerful winter storm sweeps through the region, bringing heavy snowfall, high winds, and dangerous travel conditions.
Mayor Cherelle Parker and city emergency management leaders urged residents to stay off the roads except for essential travel, warning that snow could accumulate rapidly and make streets impassable.
