ZELENSKYY says Ukraine and US will meet after Russia visit

Thursday, December 4, 2025 -Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine will hold follow-up talks with U.S. officials after the American delegation completes its visit to Moscow. 

The upcoming meetings are expected to involve senior Ukrainian negotiators, with talks aimed at continuing discussions initiated by the U.S. in Russia.

According to Zelenskyy, once the U.S. team returns from Moscow and briefs Washington, Ukrainian representatives — including Rustem Umerov and Andrii Hnatov — will engage in direct talks with U.S. counterparts. He emphasized that these meetings could take place either face‑to‑face or via phone, underscoring that contact between all partners remains constant.

With the war continuing and the stakes high, the planned Ukraine–U.S. discussions represent a crucial next step in broader diplomatic efforts.
