GREG BIFFLE’s wife sent harrowing text moments to her mother before deadly plane crash

Saturday, December 20, 2025 -In an urgent and heartbreaking revelation, Cristina Grossu Biffle — wife of retired NASCAR star Greg Biffle — sent a chilling message to her mother just moments before the tragic plane crash that claimed her life and those of her family. 

As the private jet encountered fatal trouble near Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina, Cristina texted, “We’re in trouble” just before the aircraft went down, leaving loved ones stunned and scrambling for answers.

The devastating crash on December 18, 2025, killed all seven people aboard, including Greg (55), Cristina (35), their son Ryder (5), and Greg’s daughter Emma (14), along with family friends and pilots. 

The Biffles had been en route to Florida for a birthday trip, planning cherished moments together that turned into an unthinkable tragedy.
