‘Rush Hour 4’ revived after DONALD TRUMP urged Paramount skydance to resurrect franchise

Wednesday, November 26, 2025 -The long-dormant Rush Hour franchise is officially coming back, much to the delight of fans. Reports indicate that Rush Hour 4 has been green-lit at Paramount following a surprising push by U.S. President Donald Trump, who reportedly lobbied studio executives and stakeholders to bring the iconic buddy-cop series back to the big screen. 

The franchise, which originally starred Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, has been on hiatus for nearly two decades, making this revival a major Hollywood event.
