Kazakhstan joins the Abraham Accords, normalizing ties with Israel


Friday, November 7, 2025 -Kazakhstan, which already maintains diplomatic relations with Israel, formally joined the Abraham Accords on Friday, a day after President Donald Trump announced the initiative.


The Foreign Ministry issued a statement indicating that this decision was made in the country’s best interests with the objective of strengthening cooperation with all “interested states.”

“This significant decision was made solely in the interests of Kazakhstan and aligns fully with the nature of the republic’s balanced, constructive, and peaceful foreign policy,” the ministry stated.


The ministry further emphasized that Kazakhstan will persistently advocate for a just, comprehensive, and sustainable resolution to the Middle East conflict based on international law, pertinent United Nations resolutions, and the principle of “two states for two peoples.”The Abraham Accords constitute a series of agreements that normalized diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab states during President Trump’s inaugural term.
