White House dismisses claims TRUMP plans to commute DIDDY’s prison sentence

Tuesday, October 21, 2025- The White House has firmly denied reports that President Donald Trump is considering commuting the prison sentence of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Several media outlets had suggested that Trump was reviewing the case, but officials called those claims “completely false” and said no such discussions were taking place.

Combs, who is serving a multi-year federal sentence, was rumored to have supporters lobbying the administration for clemency. However, a White House spokesperson clarified that no official request or consideration process had begun.

Trump himself has previously said that while he would “look at the facts,” a pardon for Combs would be “very difficult” given the severity of the charges.

The rumor had sparked intense debate online, with critics accusing Trump of favoritism and supporters defending the president’s right to exercise clemency.

The administration’s swift denial appears aimed at quelling speculation before it gains political traction ahead of ongoing discussions about justice reform and presidential pardon powers.
