Wednesday, September 24, 2025 - Libya's Department for Combating Irregular Migration says it will deport large numbers of migrants of various African nationalities through land and air borders.
In a statement on Facebook on Monday, the department said
Egyptian migrants had already been repatriated by land via the Musaid crossing,
in coordination with the Egyptian embassy. It did not specify the number of
people involved.
Last Wednesday, a group of Bangladeshi migrants were
deported via Mitiga airport after completing removal procedures on their travel
documents for violating Libyan immigration laws.
