Friday, September 26, 2025 - An American Airlines passenger,
Ketty J. Dilone, was restrained and ultimately duct-taped to her seat after
allegedly attacking a flight attendant and launching into a profanity-fueled
mid-air tirade, during which she bizarrely claimed she once tried to poison her
own father.
The incident occurred on a Las Vegas-bound flight on
September 16, a connecting leg from Charlotte, NC, following Dilone's return
trip from the Dominican Republic, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office
District of Nevada
Authorities allege Dilone walked and yelled throughout the
cabin, verbally threatening multiple flight attendants. Due to her escalating
behavior, flight staff were forced to use zip ties and duct tape to restrain
her in her seat. Even after being restrained, Dilone allegedly kicked a flight
attendant, causing the crew member to fall
A viral video posted to TikTok captured Dilone’s foul-mouthed
outburst. She is heard screaming that the restraints were hurting her and
shouting profanities at a flight attendant, including: “You don’t know what the
f–k I’ve been through, bitch! Kill yourself, bitch! You wanna die, bitch?”
Dilone then made a bizarre and chilling admission, claiming
she put "roach poison" in her father’s coffee when she was 11, with
the intention to kill him.
“It didn’t work,” she said calmly. “And in DR (Dominican
Republic), we call it ‘Tres Pasito.’”
Tres Pasitos—Spanish for “three little steps”—is a potent pesticide, illegal in the U.S., used to kill cockroaches and mice.
After briefly singing the chorus to a Spanish song of the
same name, she began flying off the handle again. "So if anybody wants to
kill somebody, put roach poison! But make sure it’s not expired, and make sure
you put a lot of it!” she shouted, claiming that her attempt on her father only
"put him to sleep."
The video ended shortly after Dilone started screaming that
“the show’s f–king over” and rambling incoherently.
The FBI arrested Dilone after the flight landed at Las Vegas
Harry Reid International Airport, and she was transported to the Henderson
Detention Center. She has been charged with one count of interference with a
flight crew and one count of assault by striking, beating, or wounding.
Dilone made her first court appearance on September 18. A preliminary hearing is set for October 1, and if found guilty, she faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
