Friday, August 29, 2025 -Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has reportedly applied for residency in Portugal, signaling her intent to spend more time in Europe.
The application was submitted in July 2025 to Portugal’s Agency for Integration, Migration, and Asylum, and comes as the couple already owns a property in Lisbon purchased in 2023.
Reports suggest they are also considering acquiring a second home at the CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club, a luxury development near Lisbon popular among high-profile individuals.
While Kidman seeks a European base, sources indicate that the family’s primary residence will remain in Nashville, Tennessee. Her husband, musician Keith Urban, is expected to apply for residency at a later date, following the completion of his U.S. tour schedule.
