Wednesday, July 2, 2025 - A notorious Ghanaian criminal kingpin known as Saaed, also known as Biggie, has been apprehended by the Libyan Army's 444 Brigade on charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
It was gathered that the army set an ambush for the
dangerous criminal and arrested him in his den.
Eleven victims were also rescued from his den by the army.
The suspect is accused of abducting women and girls from
various African countries, including Nigeria, and forcing them into
prostitution in order to profit from it.
Reacting
to the development, human trafficking survivor, Hope Oyiza Yakubu, hailed the
arrest of Biggie.
“The
Libyan Army has arrested a notorious Ghanaian trafficker, Biggie, who
specializes in selling Nigerian girls in Libya. This is a big win for all
advocates. The next is Lion, the God that brought Biggie down will bring him
down too, it will happen sooner than we hope for. Congratulations to all the
ladies who regained their freedom, may light shine on others,” the anti-human
trafficking advocate wrote.
