You addressed the wrong crowd – DIDMUS BARASA mocks UHURU after it emerged that most attendees of the Sagana III meeting were supporters of DP RUTO.

 

Friday, February 25, 2022 – Kimilili Member of Parliament, Didmus Barasa, has alleged that President Uhuru Kenyatta addressed the wrong crowd at the Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County on Wednesday.

Uhuru met with leaders and members of the public from the populous Mt. Kenya region and persuaded them to support ODM Leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid, saying he is the safest pair of hands as opposed to Deputy President William Ruto.

But in a tweet, Barasa mocked Uhuru, claiming that a majority of the attendees at the meeting were supporters of William Ruto.

According to Barasa, a UDA sympathizer, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua is the one who mobilized the people who attended the Sagana meeting just to pocket the money that Uhuru dished out.

Barasa proceeded to suggest that President Kenyatta should consider convening another meeting, Sagana 4.

“Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, Mungu anakuona. How can you mobilize your constituents to invade Uhuru Kenyatta’s Sagana 3, take 3,000 each and come back to Mathira? 

“The Head of State addressed a wrong crowd. We are demanding for Sagana 4 na sio tafadhali,” the Kimilili MP tweeted.
